'US Special Envoy Whitlock Leaves Russia After Ceasefire Negotiations'
Steve Witkoff, the U.S. White House Middle East envoy who visited Russia to discuss the '30-day ceasefire plan,' left Russia on the 14th (local time).
TASS news agency, citing an anonymous source, confirmed, "He left by plane."
Ria Novosti news agency, quoting flight tracking service Flightradar24, reported that the plane he was on took off from Moscow Vnukovo Airport at 1:54 a.m. that day and arrived in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Envoy Witkoff arrived in Moscow the previous day. It is known that he met with the Russian delegation to discuss the ceasefire plan agreed upon by the U.S. and Ukraine in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the 11th. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov also told the media the day before that Russian President Vladimir Putin would meet privately with Envoy Witkoff.

At a press conference the previous day, President Putin expressed support for the ceasefire plan itself but said further discussions were needed and that he might need to speak with U.S. President Donald Trump. Aide Ushakov showed a tough stance, saying the ceasefire plan should be revised considering Russia's interests.
