The plan is to intensively check for the presence of risk factors in facilities where safety accidents are a concern.
Minor issues identified during the inspection will be immediately addressed on-site, while facilities requiring repair, reinforcement, or a detailed safety diagnosis will undergo emergency measures such as restricted use, followed by prompt improvements.
The Jeonbuk Headquarters is also conducting safety inspections on 136 construction sites under construction in the region until the 21st. The current site inspections aim to prevent accidents such as facility collapse or overturning, as well as similar major accidents at construction sites that have become social issues. Additionally, compliance with the three key safety measures to prevent fatal accidents at construction sites?fall prevention, entrapment prevention, and use of protective equipment?will also be checked.
Kim Dongin, head of the headquarters, stated, "During the thawing period, the ground weakens and even minor carelessness can lead to major accidents. Therefore, we will remain vigilant about safety management and strictly adhere to workplace safety rules to prevent disasters and create a safe working environment."
