Guro-gu Operates 'Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Center'
Woodworking Experience Programs Offered
for All Ages from Toddlers to Adults
Guro-gu will present a variety of programs throughout the year at the Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Center for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Opened in March 2024, the Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Center is a nature-friendly space in the city where people from toddlers to adults can experience making crafts using wood.
This year, in addition to existing programs, woodworking experience programs incorporating garden healing elements and crafts focused on practicality have been organized to allow participants to create items that can be used in daily life.
New programs will be offered every month, and detailed schedules and content will be announced on the Guro-gu Office website.
In March, participants can make various wooden crafts such as tissue boxes, perpetual calendars, spinning tops, cat beds, plant pot stands, plant pot boxes, and cypress wood humidifiers.
The usage fee, including material and experience fees, ranges from a minimum of 2,000 KRW to a maximum of 15,000 KRW. Since the target audience, schedule, and fees vary by program, detailed information should be checked on the Seoul Public Reservation System before applying.
Especially for groups of 10 or more, availability must be confirmed by phone before making a reservation.
Applications can be made by searching for ‘Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience’ on the Seoul Public Reservation System website, and the experience and material fees can be paid by card or bank transfer.
