Black Eagles Air Show to Be Held at the 'Yeoju Tourism Inaugural Year Proclamation Ceremony' and Yeoju Namhangang Suspension Bridge Opening Ceremony
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 13th that the Black Eagles Air Show will be performed at the 'Yeoju Tourism Inaugural Year Proclamation Ceremony and Yeoju Namhangang Suspension Bridge Opening Ceremony' held on May 1st at the Sinreuksa Tourist Area (simultaneously held: the 37th Yeoju Ceramic Festival).

The Black Eagles are the Republic of Korea Air Force's elite aerobatic team, recognized as one of the best in the world, showcasing pilots' organized skills and teamwork through various special flight maneuvers. In this air show, they will present a dazzling performance painting the sky, along with a special flight capturing the beauty of Yeoju City.
On the day of the event, in addition to the Black Eagles Air Show, there will be dignified performances by the U.S. 8th Army Honor Guard and Military Band, and the Marine Corps Band, representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, and U.S. military. A fantastic drone show illuminating the night sky and fireworks will also provide a variety of attractions.
Furthermore, the Yeoju Namhangang Suspension Bridge features differentiated elements such as a media facade combining music and video, and a glass floor that becomes transparent when stepped on, promising an even more special experience for tourists.
Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju said, "Yeoju is a city where history, culture, and nature coexist, and it is now ready to leap forward as the best tourist city in Korea," adding, "By promoting various tourism infrastructure developments and publicity strategies, this will be the inaugural year opening the era of 6 million tourists."
