Chungnam Visit Year Monitoring Team Launched... Inspection of Major Tourist Site Readiness
Composed of 41 Members Including Cultural Tourism Interpreters and Professors
Chungnam Province announced on the 13th that it will form and operate a 'Tourism Readiness Monitoring Team' to improve tourist satisfaction and enhance the quality of tourism services in preparation for the '2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year'.
The monitoring team is composed of 41 members, including cultural tourism interpreters and professors, and plans to carry out continuous activities until the end of the year.
The team will visit 160 major tourist sites in 41 regions within the province to check for inconveniences that tourists may experience and identify areas that need improvement.
The inspection items will mainly include the condition and cleanliness of restrooms and small facilities at tourist sites, the state of aging or damaged tourist information centers and the availability of promotional materials, as well as the condition and appropriateness of explanations on tourist information boards and signs.
After inspections, a result report will be prepared and sent to city and county offices, with instructions to take corrective or supplementary actions where necessary.
An official from the province stated, "We will thoroughly respond to ensure that Chungnam leaves a clean and pleasant impression on visitors during the Chungnam Visit Year."
