Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the afternoon of the 12th that it has signed a “Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Revitalizing Local Tourism” with Korail Tourism Development Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Baek-shin) to attract tourism demand on the Gyeongui Line by utilizing railway tourism infrastructure and promotional channels.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City stated, “We will strive to expand tourism demand for the Gyeongui Line, which has reopened after 20 years, and through this, establish an image as a ‘Railway Tourism City’ to once again open the second golden age of Jangheung.”
