The county was selected for the 'Jeollanam-do Rural Study-Abroad Program Promotion Support Project,' through which it built eight single-family houses (three in Geumseong-myeon and five in Yong-myeon) with a total area of 72 square meters each. Since moving in began in August last year, eight families with 27 members are currently residing as rural study-abroad families.
