View original imageTaean County, Chungnam Province, announced on the 11th that it will operate the "2025 New Farmer Agricultural Settlement Skills Training" at the auditorium of the Agricultural Technology Center for three weeks until the 27th, to help new returnees and settlers adapt to rural life.
This training targets a total of 40 people, including new farmers and urban residents preparing to return or relocate to rural areas, aiming to foster basic competencies in agriculture and support successful settlement in rural communities.
Over ten sessions, relevant experts will be invited to cover topics such as understanding rural migration, agricultural policies for returnees, rural life facilitation, soil and fertilizers, farmland laws, and the basics of fruit cultivation. On-site training and mentoring both inside and outside the county are also planned.
A county official stated, "We will provide practical education so that new farmers and prospective rural settlers can establish themselves stably," adding, "We will actively support those preparing to return or relocate to rural areas so they can acquire skills, share various information, and develop their own success strategies."
