View original imageAccording to Uijeongbu City on the 12th, this meeting was organized to understand the changed working environment after the introduction of the city bus public management system and to hear the opinions of the drivers. About 100 city bus drivers and related personnel attended the event, which also included a session to encourage the hard work of the drivers.
The city is implementing the city bus public management system with a budget of 13 billion KRW and is maintaining stable operations with the highest conversion rate in Gyeonggi Province. In addition, the city plans to continuously promote the transition to the public management system for the remaining routes according to the schedule and will do its best to further improve the public transportation usage environment.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “Thanks to the dedication of the drivers who connect the precious daily lives of citizens, safer and more convenient public transportation services are being provided, and especially positive changes have continued since the implementation of the city bus public management system.” He added, “I ask for continuous cooperation and efforts to improve passenger safety and service quality, and we will carefully review the issues raised on-site to prepare practical support measures.”
