Powernet Achieves Record High with 230.2 Billion KRW in Sales and 13.3 Billion KRW Operating Profit Last Year
Powernet announced on the 12th that it recorded an earnings surprise last year, far exceeding market expectations.
According to Powernet's disclosure, the company achieved its highest-ever performance last year with separate basis sales of 230.2 billion KRW and operating profit of 13.3 billion KRW. This represents a 23.7% increase in sales and a 30.4% increase in operating profit compared to the same period last year.
A company representative explained, "Despite the overall downturn in the manufacturing industry last year, we continued an upward trend by breaking quarterly record performances, and in the fourth quarter, we achieved solid results, recording the highest sales and operating profit."
Additionally, with some affiliates incorporated as subsidiaries in the third quarter, consolidated sales and operating profit reached 323.2 billion KRW and 13.3 billion KRW, respectively.
A Powernet official emphasized, "The better-than-expected performance of new models and new business sectors in 2024 drove sales growth, and the results of various innovation activities were realized as profits, enabling significant growth."
