Guro-gu, Joint Consultation Service for Local Taxes and Labor
Operates on the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 1 PM to 5 PM
Guro-gu will operate a ‘Free Local Tax and Labor Joint Consultation Service for Working People’ from March to November.
Since 2020, Guro-gu has been providing free tax and labor consultations for multicultural families and foreigners, and has expanded the target audience to allow more residents and local workers to use the consultation service.
The consultation service is available at the ‘Guro-gu Workers’ Comprehensive Support Center’ on the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 1 PM to 5 PM for in-person consultations, and telephone consultations are available regardless of the day from 9 AM to 6 PM.
The consultation areas include △ tax consultations related to local taxes △ requests for protection of rights such as tax audits and delinquent tax dispositions △ demands for correction and suspension of illegal or unfair dispositions, covering tax and labor-related matters.
Tax consultations are provided by the Guro-gu Taxpayer Protection Officer, and labor consultations are handled by a certified labor attorney, offering professional advice.
For related inquiries, contact the Guro-gu Office Taxpayer Protection Officer or the Guro-gu Workers’ Comprehensive Support Center. A Guro-gu official stated, “We expect to help residents protect their rights more actively and provide practical solutions to those facing difficulties with tax issues,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various support measures to enhance the welfare and protect the rights of our residents.”
