BPA Holds Meeting with Representatives of Companies in New Port Hinterland Complex
Following the Working-level Council, Communication Among Representatives Strengthened for Greater Effectiveness
Discussion on Activation of Value-added Logistics and Eradication of Illegal Activities at Busan Port
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sanggeun) held a meeting with representatives of tenant companies on June 10 to discuss the activation of value-added logistics and other issues in the hinterland of Busan New Port.
The main topics of discussion at this meeting were the promotion of value-added logistics in line with the purpose of developing the port hinterland, support for strengthening the competitiveness of tenant companies, and the eradication of illegal activities such as unauthorized subleasing of leased land.
Following the working-level "System Improvement Task Force," BPA plans to hold meetings with representatives of tenant companies every six months starting this year to further strengthen on-site communication.

Song Sanggeun, President of BPA, said, "This meeting with tenant company representatives in the hinterland has become a more effective venue for communication," adding, "We will continue to listen to various voices from the field and actively reflect them in policies to vitalize tenant companies in the hinterland."
