Gyeonggawon Recruits Companies for Win-Win Cooperation in Pyeongtaek Area... 17 Million KRW Support per Company
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will select five small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pyeongtaek and provide up to 17 million KRW in funding per company.
On the 10th, the agency announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the "Pyeongtaek City SME Win-Win Cooperation Support Project," which focuses on creating new business opportunities and revitalizing the industrial ecosystem through collaboration among local SMEs, in partnership with Pyeongtaek City, until the 28th of this month.
The support targets small manufacturing companies located in Pyeongtaek. Five companies with high growth potential in research and development (R&D), prototype production, manufacturing, and distribution will be selected and provided with up to 17 million KRW each.
Jung Kwang-yong, Head of the Balanced Opportunity Division at the agency, stated, "This project is an opportunity for SMEs in Pyeongtaek to enhance their competitiveness through local collaboration," adding, "We will actively support the creation of new business models by utilizing complementary capabilities among companies."

The agency is conducting various support projects to strengthen SME capabilities in partnership with Pyeongtaek City, including fostering hidden champions, SME capacity-building support, and production level-up support.
