The data collected from the survey will serve as a foundation for building a better social safety net.
A city official stated, "We aim to prevent the social isolation of elderly people living alone and strengthen service provision through public-private cooperation," and added, "We ask for your warm attention to seniors who may be living alone around you."
Meanwhile, the city plans to strengthen preventive care by providing integrated and proactive care, linking customized care and emergency safety and security services to elderly people living alone who are at high risk of isolation.
