Gwangju Eastern Office of Education Distributes Educational Materials to Parents
Reducing Teachers' Workload and Improving Administrative Efficiency
Gwangju Eastern Office of Education announced on the 10th that it has produced and distributed integrated educational materials for parents to all public and private schools in the region. This measure aims to reduce the preparation burden for mandatory parent education, which is held at parent orientation sessions every March.
The materials include mandatory and recommended information that parents should know, such as student gambling prevention education and the high school credit system. By having the Eastern School Support Center distribute the materials in an integrated manner, rather than each school preparing them individually, administrative efficiency has been improved.
Lee Myungsook, Superintendent of Education, said, "We will continue to provide practical support by reflecting feedback from the field so that schools can focus on education."
