Daejin University Selected for the 2025 'Leading University for Unification Education Project'
Daejin University (President Jang Seok-hwan) announced on the 7th that it has been selected for the 2025 'Leading University for Unification Education Project' organized by the Ministry of Unification.
The Leading University for Unification Education Project is a program by the Ministry of Unification that designates and fosters universities that systematically, comprehensively, and creatively implement unification education, and promotes the development, distribution, and expansion of excellent models and programs for university unification education.
Daejin University's Leading University for Unification Education Project was selected for the 2020-2023 designation and fostering project and operated for four years. Having succeeded in re-entering the 2025 project, it plans to carry out the leading university project with a budget of 720 million KRW over four years (180 million KRW annually).

Jung Byung-hwa, head of the Leading University for Unification Education Project at Daejin University (professor), stated, "We will strive to cultivate proactive talents who lead coexistence and peace through training peace and unification experts, mandatory participation in unification-related liberal arts and major courses with experiential learning, field trips, and operation of specialized peace and unification programs."
