Kwon Young-se, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, expressed his position on the release of President Yoon Seok-yeol, who was indicted and detained on charges of 'leader of the rebellion,' saying, "I warmly welcome this."
On the same day, Chairman Kwon met with reporters at the National Assembly and said, "Considering the process that led to the detention investigation, President Yoon's detention had many issues," adding, "We also said at the Emergency Response Committee yesterday that the detention should be canceled, so I think this is a good outcome."
