Consulting Program Launched for Young Hanwoo Farmers in Ulsan
Supporting Settlement and Technology Education for the Next Generation of Hanwoo Producers
Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center has been selected for the “3rd Base Region Project for Fostering Young Livestock Farmers,” organized by the National Institute of Animal Science under the Rural Development Administration.
Accordingly, Ulsan City plans to provide consulting services to 15 young Hanwoo farmers in Ulsan from this month until December next year.
The consulting program will consist of on-site technical support from the National Institute of Animal Science related to current livestock issues such as shortening the breeding period (including feeding, breeding, and disease management), as well as consulting on finance, tax, and accounting from NH Nonghyup Bank.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, “Through this Hanwoo youth farmer consulting program, we aim to support the successful settlement of young Hanwoo farmers in Ulsan and provide education on new Hanwoo technologies that can be applied in the field. We will do our utmost to nurture the future key personnel who will lead the Hanwoo industry in Ulsan.”
