Gyeonggi-do Partners with Kyobo Bookstore to Support Cultural Activities for 'Out-of-School Youth'
Gyeonggi Province is joining hands with Kyobo Bookstore to strengthen support for 'out-of-school youth.'
Gyeonggi Province announced that the Gyeonggi Province Out-of-School Youth Support Center, which it operates on a consignment basis, and the out-of-school support centers in cities and counties within the province signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Strengthen Support for Out-of-School Youth' with Kyobo Bookstore (offline headquarters) and Lotte Department Store Pyeongchon Branch Culture Hall on the 7th.
The agreement was prepared to support the learning and cultural activities of out-of-school youth and to alleviate their financial burdens.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ discounts at Kyobo Bookstore offline stores ▲ bookstore tour programs ▲ cooperation in cultural events.
Out-of-school youth in the province can purchase books, stationery, and other items at a 10% discounted price by presenting the 'Kkumwoollim Card' at Kyobo Bookstore offline stores nationwide.
The Kkumwoollim Card is provided to support the self-development and cultural activities of out-of-school youth. When out-of-school youth visit and register at a nearby out-of-school youth support center and participate in the center's programs, up to 50,000 won worth of points are charged monthly. The points provided can be used for purchasing daily necessities, books, or cultural experience expenses.
