Yeongdeok-gun Supports Multi-Child Families with Agricultural and Marine Product Purchase Subsidies
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is implementing the ‘Multi-Child Family Agricultural and Marine Products Purchase Support Project’ to encourage multi-child families and reduce the burden of childcare expenses.
The support target is families with two or more children residing in Yeongdeok-gun, with at least one child under the age of 19.
In the past year, the support amount was uniformly 50,000 KRW per eligible family, but starting this year, agricultural and marine product purchase coupons will be distributed differentially: 50,000 KRW for families with two children, 70,000 KRW for families with three children, and 100,000 KRW for families with four or more children.
Applications can be submitted online through the Gyeongbuk Low Birthrate Overcoming Integrated Application System until November 15, and individual text messages will be sent to selected households on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
Selected households can purchase agricultural products online using coupons at Saiseo, Gyeongsangbuk-do’s agricultural specialty product shopping mall, and Yeongdeok Market.

County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol said, “I hope this support will help the young dreamers growing up in Yeongdeok to eat fresh and trustworthy agricultural products produced locally and grow up healthy. We will continue to discover and implement support projects for multi-child families and promote a culture of encouraging childbirth to contribute to increasing the birth rate and responding to local extinction.”
