Kyobo Securities Launches Monthly-Paying ELB Following Korea Electric Power... Pre-Tax Annual Yield 4.2%
Kyobo Securities announced on the 5th that it will hold a public offering for one type of Equity-Linked Bond (ELB) until the 7th.
ELB Series 389 is a 3-year principal-protected monthly payment product based on the common stock of Korea Electric Power Corporation. On each monthly profit evaluation date, if the monthly profit evaluation price of the underlying asset is at least 85% of the initial reference price, a pre-tax return of 0.35% per month (4.2% annually) is paid. If the monthly profit evaluation price is below 85% of the initial reference price, no return is paid.
Additionally, an early redemption opportunity is provided every 6 months. If on the automatic early redemption evaluation date the automatic early redemption evaluation price of the underlying asset is 102% or higher, the principal is paid and early redemption occurs.
Even if the maturity evaluation price of the underlying asset is below 102% on the maturity evaluation date, the principal will be paid, but principal loss may occur in case of early redemption.
The minimum subscription amount for this product is 1,000,000 KRW, and subscriptions can be made in units of 100,000 KRW.
