Key exhibited products include Protection Covers that protect electric vehicle batteries and cooling systems, and Truck Beds optimized for pickup truck cargo spaces. All of these are made from Glass Mat Thermoplastic (GMT), a durable and lightweight glass fiber reinforced composite material, attracting attention in the electric vehicle and commercial vehicle markets.
Various special upper and lower cases for battery packs, designed to protect batteries from external impacts, will also be introduced. The Battery Pack Lower Tray, which has proven excellence by meeting compression, drop, and vibration durability performance, is a product that reduces the number of parts and achieves 20% weight reduction through an integrated design based on epoxy GF-SMC, a special composite material.
The Battery Pack Upper Case, combining thermosetting resin SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) and metal, delays thermal runaway spread in case of internal battery fire and prevents malfunction of battery electronic circuits through electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance. The Upper Case, applied with an aluminum composite panel, is noted for its safety design focused on securing evacuation time for passengers in the event of a fire.
