Gwangmyeong-si Provides Medical and Care Support for Pets to Vulnerable Groups
Up to 160,000 KRW per pet
for vaccination, treatment, and more
Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the pet medical and care support program for socioeconomically vulnerable households until the 4th of next month.
The support items include ▲vaccination fees ▲neutering surgery fees ▲basic check-up and treatment fees ▲care delegation fees for up to 10 days. Support is provided up to 160,000 KRW per animal.
The eligible applicants are households with an income at or below 120% of the median income. Applicants must have been registered residents of Gwangmyeong for more than one year as of the announcement date and must own registered pets such as dogs or cats.
Those interested can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in their jurisdiction. For more details, please check the public notice on the Gwangmyeong City Hall website.
