On the 5th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will carry out the project together with 31 cities and counties in the province to ensure that students not included in the free school uniform support project can receive the same support.
The support targets are first-year middle and high school students enrolled in alternative education institutions with resident registration in Gyeonggi Province as of the enrollment or transfer date, and first-year middle and high school students enrolled in schools located in other cities or provinces.
As long as the group uniform is specified in the school regulations, 400,000 KRW will be reimbursed regardless of the type of uniform, including school uniforms, daily uniforms, or sportswear.
Students and parents who wish to apply can submit the necessary documents, such as group uniform purchase receipts and enrollment certificates, by visiting the Gyeonggi Civil Service 24 website (gg24.gg.go.kr), city or county offices, or administrative welfare centers from the 10th of this month until December 5.
