Yangsan City Develops Persuasive Strategies at March Manager Meeting
On March 4, Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province held a manager meeting and officially launched activities to secure national funding for the following year, focusing on the discovery of new national projects for 2026.
During the meeting, detailed plans and implementation schedules for feasible projects were discussed after departmental reviews. These projects include the underground cable project in the Deokgye Elementary School area, the development of an industry for the reuse of batteries from imported and hybrid vehicles and the establishment of a safety assurance infrastructure, and the construction of a Biomedical Innovation Center.
Mayor Na Dongyeon urged, “We must not be satisfied with the projects identified this time. Please respond thoroughly at each stage in line with the budget planning schedule, and approach the securing of national funding with a sense of urgency by actively participating in public project competitions across various fields.”
He also emphasized, “In order to improve the quality of life for citizens and revitalize the local economy, it is crucial to discover and secure projects supported by national funding. I ask for an all-out effort to secure such funding.”
Yangsan City plans to make every effort to secure national funding for the next year by continuously monitoring the budget planning process, identifying projects of interest to the government and the National Assembly, and making frequent visits to central government ministries, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the National Assembly.
