According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located in northern China on this day. Morning low temperatures will range from 1 to 4 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 8 and 11 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows are expected to be 1 degree in Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, and Boseong; 2 degrees in Gwangju, Hampyeong, Gurye, Naju, Hwasun, Muan, Shinan, Yeongam, Jangheung, Suncheon, Goheung, Gangjin, and Haenam; 3 degrees in Gwangyang, Jindo, Mokpo, and Wando; and 4 degrees in Yeosu.
Daytime highs will be 11 degrees in Jangseong, Gurye, and Gwangyang; 10 degrees in Gwangju, Damyang, Gokseong, Suncheon, Hwasun, Yeongam, Goheung; 9 degrees in Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Haenam, Gangjin, Boseong, and Yeosu; and 8 degrees in Shinan, Mokpo, and Jindo, which is higher than the previous day.
Waves in both the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters will be 1 to 2 meters high. Fine and ultrafine dust levels will remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration said on the 4th, "Please be cautious of falling objects such as banners and tree branches, as well as damage from fallen or broken trees. Pedestrians and drivers should pay special attention to safety."
