Jeong Il Kang, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Member, Receives Metropolitan Council Legislative Award
The South Jeolla Provincial Council announced on the 4th that Councilor Kang Jeongil (Democratic Party of Korea, Gwangyang 2) received the ‘16th Local Autonomy Management Award - Metropolitan Council Legislative Award’.
This award ceremony, hosted and organized by Gwangnam Ilbo, was held at the Gwangju Olympic Memorial National Sports Center. It recognizes metropolitan council members who have contributed to regional development and the improvement of residents' quality of life. Councilor Kang was honored with the award in recognition of his proactive legislative activities and policy initiatives for the residents.

In particular, as the Chair of the Jeonnam Settlement Audit Committee last year, he thoroughly reviewed the provincial budget to prevent waste of residents' taxes and played a significant role in monitoring unnecessary budget expenditures.
