The AI Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University (Director Jeong Seok-chan) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on February 27 in Naples, Italy, with the University of Naples Federico II to promote joint research and cooperation in education and science.

View original imageThe signing ceremony was attended by Jeong Seok-chan, Director of the AI Grand ICT Research Center, Daniela La Foresta, Professor of Political Science at the University of Naples Federico II, and other officials.
Through this agreement, both universities will mutually cooperate in △ developing educational programs △ joint research and R&D collaboration △ internships, exchange students, and researcher exchanges △ expanding cooperation with companies and institutions.
The University of Naples Federico II, located in Naples, Campania, Italy, is a public university founded in 1224 as the world's first non-religious university, with a history spanning 800 years, and currently enrolls about 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
Director Jeong Seok-chan stated, “Through this agreement, we will expand the scope of cooperation not only in AX (AI+X) but also in political science and public administration to enhance global recognition in the EU region. We expect various achievements such as strengthening AI research capabilities, expanding global networks, and industry-academia cooperation by jointly participating in the Erasmus Plus project, an EU lifelong education platform project.”
