Daemyung Sono Acquires T'way Air, Adds Two Golf Courses in Guam
Onward Mangilao and Talofofo GC Begin Operations from the 1st
First Direct Operation of Overseas Golf Courses

Daemyung Sono Group announced on the 4th that it has acquired Guam's representative golf courses, 'Onward Mangilao Golf Club' and 'Onward Talofofo Golf Club,' and began operations on the 1st.
This is the first time Daemyung Sono Group is directly operating golf courses overseas. Having recently acquired management rights of the low-cost carrier (LCC) T'way Air, Daemyung Sono Group plans to strengthen its overseas business portfolio by acquiring these two golf courses in Guam. They also expect synergy by developing products linking the Guam route, which T'way Air operates seven times a week, with the golf courses, and by considering the future operation of golf-tels within the complex, combining golf, aviation, and accommodation.
Daemyung Sono Group will operate the two acquired golf courses under the brands 'SONO Felice Country Club Guam Mangilao' and 'SONO Felice Country Club Guam Talofofo,' respectively.
SONO Felice Country Club Guam Mangilao and Talofofo are two of the five golf courses operating in Guam. They boast fantastic course layouts set against pristine natural surroundings and are well-known golf destinations among golfers worldwide.
Daemyung Sono Group currently operates 20 hotels and resorts domestically, including Sol Beach Namhae, which opens this year, and is accelerating its overseas expansion. Starting with the entrusted operation of 'Vietnam Sonovel Haiphong' in 2019, it acquired the 'Normandy Hotel' in Washington DC in 2022, '33 Seaport Hotel New York' in 2023, and in 2024, the 'Dame des Jardins Hotel' in Paris, France, and the 'Waikiki Resort Hotel' in Hawaii.
Currently, it operates three 18-hole golf courses domestically and has also been managing the 27-hole Sonofelice Haiphong Country Club (CC) in Vietnam under entrusted operation overseas.
