Chungnam Province Benchmarks Excellent Workation Cases in Busan
Reviewing the Status of Workspace Development and More
Chungnam Province recently announced on the 4th that it visited the Busan Workation Hub Center, which is considered an outstanding example of a workation-based initiative, to review the status of workspace development and other aspects.
This visit was carried out to benchmark Busan's case, as the workation culture is spreading, and to incorporate it into Chungnam Province's own workation policies.
Chungnam is drawing attention as an optimal destination for workation due to its beautiful natural environment and diverse tourism resources, and the province is currently working to strengthen a region-specific workation foundation.
The Busan Workation Hub Center, located on the 24th floor?the top floor?of the Asti Hotel Busan right next to Busan Station (KTX), is operated by Busan City as a workspace for workation participants by establishing a remote work infrastructure. It has the advantage of combining the latest smart office environment with leisure facilities.
Based on this visit, the province plans to develop customized workation programs for companies and employees and establish specialized models linked to local tourism.
Kim Beomsoo, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, said, "We will adapt Busan's workation policies and hub center operation experience to suit the realities of Chungnam, so that more companies and employees can balance work and relaxation within the province."
