69 to Be Hired in the First Half, 3 in the Second Half
Korean and English Exams Shift to Critical Thinking Assessment
The Gwangju Office of Education will recruit 72 local government officials at grade 9 this year.
According to the Gwangju Office of Education on the 4th, the first recruitment exam in the first half of the year will select 67 people through an open competitive process: 58 in educational administration, 4 in IT, 3 in library science, 1 in engineering (electricity), and 1 in facilities (architecture). In addition, 2 positions in driving will be filled through a career-based competition.
In the second half of the year, 2 graduates from commercial high schools will be recruited through the second Excellent Talent Trainee Recruitment Exam, and 1 position in facilities (architecture) will be filled through the third career-based competition exam.
Starting this year, the Korean and English subjects will shift from a knowledge-based memorization focus to an emphasis on critical thinking assessment, and the exam time for each subject will be extended by 5 minutes.
The written exams will be held on June 21 for the first round, August 30 for the second round, and November 1 for the third round. Applications must be submitted through the online recruitment system.
