Alleviating Housing Burden for Youth
Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 4th that it will carry out the ‘Monthly Rent Support Project for Single-Person Youth Households’ again this year starting in March to ease the housing cost burden for local youth.

View original imageThe application period for the first quarter of this year is from the 4th to the 31st, and applications can be submitted online through the Jaba Application as well as by mail or in person.
Through the Monthly Rent Support Project for Single-Person Youth Households, the county supports youth who are registered residents of Gapyeong-gun and live alone with up to 200,000 KRW per month (up to 600,000 KRW per quarter), and up to 2.4 million KRW per year within the budget.
A Gapyeong-gun official said, “We hope this will help alleviate the housing burden for youth amid high inflation and employment difficulties,” adding, “We will continue to develop policies that reflect the opinions of the youth to improve their quality of life.”
