Busan Bumin Hospital Holds March Bumin Health Class on 'Osteoporosis Prevention'
Busan Bumin Hospital will hold a public health class titled "March Bumin Hospital Health Class with Busan Citizens: How to Prevent and Prepare for Osteoporosis" on March 13th at 2 PM in the hospital's main auditorium, targeting local residents and patients.
Osteoporosis is a condition where bone density decreases, causing bones to weaken and fracture easily, and it frequently occurs in the elderly. Through this health class, information will be provided on the causes and symptoms of osteoporosis, as well as exercise and nutritional intake methods for prevention.
In this health class, Eunseong Kim, Director of the Rheumatology Department, will serve as the instructor, targeting middle-aged and elderly individuals aiming to prevent osteoporosis. The session will cover correct posture and exercise methods, diets rich in calcium and vitamin D, and practical information and treatments applicable to daily life.
