Achieved the Highest Grade of "Excellent" in the "Data-Driven Administration Evaluation"
Busan Transportation Corporation (President Lee Byung-jin) has received the highest grade of "Excellent" in both the "Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" and the "Data-Driven Administration Evaluation."
In particular, the corporation has been selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years since 2022 in the "Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation."
The "Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" and the "Data-Driven Administration Evaluation" are assessments conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to improve administrative efficiency and public convenience in public institutions. They comprehensively examine 20 indicators across five areas: △data opening and utilization △data analysis and utilization △sharing △quality △management system, and evaluate institutions with grades such as "Excellent," "Average," and "Insufficient."
In the recent "Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" conducted on 679 public institutions nationwide, the corporation scored 97 points (national average 63.0 points, urban railway institutions average 66.2 points), ranking first among urban railway operating institutions across the country.
Notably, the corporation received high praise for its efforts to promote private sector utilization, such as participating as a presenter in the global data hackathon (DIVE 2024) hosted by Busan City, providing data, and mentoring participants on-site to help them understand and utilize the provided data effectively.
Additionally, in the "Data-Driven Administration Evaluation," the corporation was recognized for various efforts in data analysis and policy utilization, fostering a data-driven administrative culture, and spreading achievements, achieving the highest grade of "Excellent" for the first time among institutions.
