"Due to Jeonse Deposit..." 70-Year-Old Man Urgently Arrested for Killing Estranged Wife
A man in his 70s who killed his wife, from whom he was separated, was arrested by the police.
On the 4th, the Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul announced that they had urgently arrested a man identified as A on suspicion of murder around 6 p.m. the previous day.
According to the police, A is suspected of killing his wife, B, at their home in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, around 2:30 p.m. the previous day.
B reportedly visited due to a dispute over the deposit of the rented house where A was staying and was attacked.
The police received a report from an acquaintance that B was not answering her phone, went to A's house, forcibly opened the door, and found B deceased.
