Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it is recruiting professional organizations to participate in the ‘2025 Youth Support Public Contest Project’ until March 14 to help young people settle and participate in the local community.
This project supports professional organizations familiar with local issues to plan and operate life-oriented programs for youth, newly launched after the establishment of the Youth Policy Division. Organizations selected as subsidy recipients will receive up to 3 million KRW in subsidies to carry out the project.
Yeongdeungpo-gu has the second highest youth population ratio among Seoul’s autonomous districts and has prepared this practical support measure to help young people settle stably in the area.
The contest theme allows applications for projects that help youth participate in and live within the local community, including social, economic, health, and cultural areas. Various programs such as ▲cooking classes ▲financial education ▲reading discussions ▲support for cultural and artistic activities can be freely planned.
Applicants must be professional organizations within the region that cooperate with each neighborhood community center and government offices to work for residents and public interest. Interested organizations can download the application form from the ‘Notices and Announcements’ board on the district office website and apply by emailing the Youth Policy Division contact or visiting their local neighborhood community center.
The district is conducting various projects to support stable social settlement and capacity building for youth, including ▲Youth Growth School ▲Youth Financial Academy ▲support for national qualification exam fees for unemployed youth, and operates the official online cafe ‘Yeongdeungpo Youth’ to provide easy access to necessary information.
