Yeoju City to Recruit Applicants for "Basic Youth Income for 24-Year-Olds" Until the 31st
24-Year-Olds Eligible for Up to 1 Million KRW Annually in Support
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 1st that it will accept applications for the ‘2025 1st Quarter Youth Basic Income’ until the 31st to improve the welfare of young people and establish a stable living foundation.

View original imageThe applicants must be 24-year-old youth registered as residents of Yeoju City (born between January 2, 2000, and December 31, 2000) who have lived continuously for more than 3 years recently or have lived in Gyeonggi Province for a total of more than 10 years.
Applications can be submitted through the job platform ‘Jobaba,’ and retroactive applications are possible within the quarter in which the applicant remains 24 years old. If applicants agree to use the ‘Public MyData Service’ during application, they can apply easily without attaching a resident registration abstract.
Eligible recipients will receive 250,000 KRW per quarter, up to 1,000,000 KRW annually, on the Yeoju Love Card (Gyeonggi local currency), regardless of property, income, or employment status. The city plans to proceed with the review and selection process and begin payments sequentially from April 20.
