Haman-gun Water and Sewage Office Relocates to Water Reclamation Center
Full-scale Operations to Begin on March 10
Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will relocate the Water and Sewage Business Office, currently located within the Gaya-eup Chamber of Commerce, to the first floor of Chilwon Water Reclamation Center (132-39 Ogok-ro, Chilwon-eup) on March 8, and will commence operations from March 10.
The new location for the Haman-gun Water and Sewage Business Office is the Chilwon Water Reclamation Center, completed last year, established to treat sewage from the Chilwon Ogok district. Inside the building, there are offices for the Water and Sewage Business Office and the Sewage Treatment Operations Team, and outdoors, there are community convenience facilities such as a gymnasium and a soccer field.
This relocation is expected to enable immediate response to sewage treatment complaints and provide a more comfortable space due to increased complaint handling areas.
Following the move, the office will handle general tasks via phone or other wired communication for citizens who find it difficult to visit in person, and for complaints that cannot be resolved remotely, staff will visit directly to minimize inconvenience to residents.
