NongHyup Bank, First in Banking Sector to Sell US Quantum Computing ETF for Retirement Pensions
NH Nonghyup Bank (President Kang Tae-young) announced on the 26th that it will launch the 'KIWOOM US Quantum Computing ETF' for defined contribution (DC) and individual retirement pension (IRP) customers, marking the first such product among domestic banks' retirement pensions.
This newly introduced ETF reflects the growth potential of quantum computing technology and is the first domestic ETF to diversify investments in key US quantum computing companies such as IonQ. Quantum computers utilize qubit-based high-performance computing capabilities to provide overwhelmingly faster speeds than conventional computers and are recognized as future technologies that will drive innovation in various industries including finance, pharmaceuticals, and security.
