Jung Mong-kyu Re-elected as President of Korea Football Association for 4th Term with '85.2% Vote Share'
Chung Mong-gyu (63), chairman of HDC Group, has succeeded in being re-elected for a fourth term as president of the Korea Football Association.
On the 26th, Chairman Chung was elected without a runoff in the first round of voting for the 55th president of the Football Association held at the Football Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul, receiving 156 votes out of a total of 183 valid votes, far exceeding half. He recorded a voting rate of 85.2%.
Heo Jeong-moo (71), former national football team coach, and Shin Moon-seon (66), invited professor of the Department of Sports Record Analysis at Myongji University Graduate School of Record Information Science, received 15 and 11 votes respectively.

Chairman Chung was first elected as president of the Football Association in January 2013. If he completes this fourth term, he will become the longest-serving president of the Football Association with 16 years in office, standing shoulder to shoulder with Chung Mong-joon (1993?2009), honorary chairman of the Asan Institute for Policy Studies.
