LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, Come to 'Maljukgeori Market' for Spring
Maljukgeori Market Returns Every Weekend Starting from March 2
Expanded Events and Eco-Friendly Campaigns Await Visitors
Let’s Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam, operated by the Korea Racing Authority (Head: Eom Young-seok), will resume its “Maljukgeori Market” every weekend starting from the 2nd of next month.
Now in its third year, Maljukgeori Market has been greatly loved for offering park visitors a variety of attractions and affordable shopping opportunities. At the market, visitors can purchase children’s and childcare products as well as goods produced by local small business owners at reasonable prices. Additionally, various experience booths, food trucks, air bounces for children, and mini trains are available, providing fun for family visitors.
Held at the Derby Square of Let’s Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam, Maljukgeori Market operates every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year, the operating days have been expanded to include Saturdays as well. On Saturdays, food trucks and amusement rides are available, while on Sundays, all booths including the flea market are open.
This year, Maljukgeori Market will introduce unique experience events each month and strengthen its eco-friendly initiatives. In particular, an eco-friendly campaign offers discounts to visitors who bring reusable containers when purchasing food from food trucks, encouraging participation in reducing disposable products.
To celebrate the reopening of Maljukgeori Market, an SNS photo certification event will also be held. Participants can join the event by uploading a photo taken with the “Kkaeal-i” signboard at the entrance of Maljukgeori Market on March 2nd to their personal SNS. Early participants will receive shopping bags and fortune cookies.
Additionally, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Let’s Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam, a “20th Anniversary Stamp Event” will be held. Visitors can collect stamps by visiting the market on the first weekend of each month during the market’s operating period. Collecting a total of seven stamps from March to November, excluding the Water Festival period, will enter participants into a draw to win a gold bar.
