Jangseong County Provides Customized Agricultural Supplies to Rice Farmers
Full Support for Eco-Friendly Farms, 90% Subsidy for General Farms
Agricultural Materials Supplied Through Local Agricultural Cooperatives Until June
On the 26th, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will implement a customized agricultural material support project to reduce management costs and increase income for rice farming households.
The supported items include six types: customized fertilizer, nursery soil for seedbeds, seedling tray treatment agents, liquid silicate, Wanguryeongi (golden apple snail), and improved water gates. Among these, nursery soil for seedbeds, seedling tray treatment agents, and liquid silicate will be supplied at prices 6?20% lower than market rates, with high-quality products selected through a public contest.
Wanguryeongi will be provided at 1.2kg per 1,000㎡ (300 pyeong). The unit price is 10,000 KRW per kg. Environmentally friendly certified farms can receive full support, while general farms can receive up to 90% support. Applications are open until March 14 and can be submitted at the administrative welfare center in the farmer's area. Agricultural materials will be supplied through local agricultural cooperatives from mid-March to June.
In addition, the county is providing various agricultural support measures, including forklift support, joint pest and disease control, and incentives for high-quality rice production.
