Over 640 Million KRW Donated in Six Years
Alumni of Dong-Eui University’s College of Future Convergence and Graduate School of Real Estate (Dean and Director Jeong Kwae-ho) donated 94 million KRW to the university development fund to support the university’s advancement and assist junior students.

View original imageDong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) held a donation ceremony for the university development fund on the 25th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building, expressing gratitude to the participating alumni.
At the ceremony, alumni representatives including Song Yeon-ik, Jeong Dong-su, Kang Oh-jung, and Byeon Hyun-jin from the Department of Real Estate Asset Management in the College of Future Convergence, Moon Yeon-ah and Noh Jae-nam from the master’s program of the Graduate School of Real Estate, and Yoon Jeong-su, president of the Korea Economic Policy Institute, delivered the university development fund to President Han Su-hwan.
The donated development fund this time was collected through the voluntary participation of graduates: 38 million KRW from the 6th graduating class of the Department of Real Estate Asset Management, 46 million KRW from the 6th graduating class of the Graduate School of Real Estate master’s program, and 10 million KRW from alumnus Yoon Jeong-su, totaling 94 million KRW.
Yoon Jeong-su, president of the Korea Economic Policy Institute, said, “There were times I considered giving up my studies due to business, but completing the course has been a great reward,” and added, “I hope juniors, who started their studies later than usual, will do their best without regrets.”
President Han Su-hwan stated, “The voluntary support of graduates will be a great strength in the challenging university environment,” and added, “Dong-Eui University, a pioneer in real estate education in the Yeongnam region, will spare no effort at the institutional level to become a prestigious university with the nation’s top expertise in the related fields.”

Since 2019, Dong-Eui University’s College of Future Convergence and Graduate School of Real Estate have annually received university development funds from graduating alumni to support scholarships and improve the educational environment for juniors, having donated a total of over 640 million KRW to date.
