View original imageOn the 25th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do held a health project briefing and a report session on the results of the Community Health Survey, attended by about 40 staff members from local health centers and health clinics.
During the meeting, guidelines for major projects currently being promoted by the health center were explained, and based on the results of the Community Health Survey, ways to improve the provision of healthcare services were discussed and various opinions from staff were collected. In addition, training on integrity was conducted to foster a culture of integrity and to uphold the values of a clean and transparent public office.
This year, the county plans to focus on activating the Long-term Care Home Medical Center project, operating visiting community health guardians, introducing the shingles inactivated vaccine, maternal and child health projects, supporting medical expenses and medical device usage for urinary incontinence, integrated care services for elderly dementia patients, and nationwide mental health support projects.
Kim Dongjin, head of the health center, emphasized, "By advancing the functions of the health center, we will strengthen support measures for health services and provide community-based healthcare services that reach out to residents, contributing to the creation of a healthier and happier Damyang."
