Regarding the request to investigate National Intelligence Service Director Cho Tae-yong's exchange of text messages with First Lady Kim at the time of the martial law declaration, he said, "We also recently became aware of this," and added, "All investigations will be conducted thoroughly."
Concerning the investigation into the contents of the notebook of former Commander of the Republic of Korea Army Intelligence Command No Sang-won, who is known to have been deeply involved in planning the martial law as a civilian, he explained, "We have summoned Mr. Noh several times for questioning, but unlike other suspects, he continues to refuse to testify, so we are investigating in various ways."
Additionally, Deputy Prosecutor Lee responded to the criticism that the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office dismissed the arrest warrant for Kim Seong-hoon, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Security Service, which was requested by the police, thereby blocking the search and seizure of the 'Bihwa phone server,' saying that this is not true.
He stated, "The charges against the Deputy Chief of the Security Service are obstruction of an arrest warrant for President Yoon and abuse of authority," and added, "I cannot disclose detailed information, but there were sufficient reasons for the dismissal."
