Korean Air with 'Record Sales' to Pay Employees '500% of Base Salary' as Performance Bonus

Korean Air, which recorded its highest-ever sales last year, will pay its employees a performance bonus equivalent to 500% of their monthly base salary.
According to Korean Air on the 25th, the scale of the 2024 performance bonus is expected to be finalized at the upcoming regular shareholders' meeting next month.
This performance bonus payout ratio is the highest ever. Korean Air raised the performance bonus payment limit from 300% to 500% two years ago, and paid 407% last year.
Korean Air posted its highest-ever sales of KRW 16.1166 trillion on a separate basis last year. Operating profit reached KRW 1.9034 trillion.

Woo Ki-hong, Vice Chairman of Korean Air, revealed the size of the performance bonus through an internal email, saying, "We are facing a very important time to open a new future as an integrated airline," and added, "Let's create a history of leaping beyond being a representative of Korea to becoming a truly global airline."
