It was established to provide safe and systematic care services to elementary school students in the area. The Dahamtge Care Center offers after-school care, academic guidance, and play programs for elementary school students experiencing care gaps, such as those from dual-income or single-parent families.
With the opening of this Sangseung Branch, Icheon City now operates Dahamtge Care Centers within three military units in the jurisdiction: the 7th Mobile Corps, the Special Warfare Command, and the Aviation Command.
