Sinan Police Station Imja Patrol Station Urgently Transports Patient Complaining of Abdominal Pain
Emergency Evacuation with Cooperation of Private Rescue Boat in Crisis Situation
The Jaewondo Police Security Center (headed by Lim Jaebeom) at the Imja Police Substation of Shinan Police Station in Jeonnam has received a great response for successfully carrying out a special rescue operation.
According to Shinan Police on the 25th, at around 11:38 a.m. on the 18th, they promptly responded to a report that Mr. A (in his 60s), who works at a shrimp farm, was experiencing sudden abdominal pain.
Upon arriving at the scene, Center Director Lim Jaebeom found that due to bad weather in the past, it was impossible to receive treatment at medical facilities in Shinan, and the shallow water made it impossible to receive assistance from the Coast Guard. In response, he urgently requested help from a private rescue boat, accompanied the patient suffering from abdominal pain to the nearby Mokseom Dock in Imja-myeon, and then transported him via the Imja 119 ambulance for about an hour to Mokpo Christian Hospital, where Mr. A was able to receive treatment safely.
Director Lim stated, "In a crisis situation where boats could not operate due to a high seas warning, we were able to safely transport the patient thanks to the cooperation of a private rescue boat," and added, "We will continue to respond quickly to emergencies and ensure the safety of Shinan residents as members of the Shinan Police."
