Buk-gu Gwangju Establishes Customized Employment Support System for Youth
Promotion of Youth Challenge, Youth Growth, and Workplace Adaptation Projects
Gwangju Buk-gu has established a step-by-step customized system to support youth employment seekers.
According to Buk-gu on the 25th, it was recently selected as a basic local government to implement all three youth support projects, including the Youth Growth Project and the Workplace Adaptation Support Project, organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Youth Challenge Support Project provides customized programs and up to 3.5 million won in allowances to 276 young people who have given up on job searching, helping them regain motivation and connecting them to job training or employment support.
The Youth Growth Project strengthens employment capabilities by categorizing young people by type and offering in-depth counseling, resume writing, and job training.
The Workplace Adaptation Support Project provides new young employees with business skills and work process training to help them adapt to organizational culture after employment, and supports companies with training for youth-friendly organizational culture.
Mayor Moon In said, "We will actively promote various youth employment support policies needed by young people and accelerate efforts to make Buk-gu a place where youth want to stay."
