Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Metropolitan City, Gyeongnam, attended the ‘Changwon National Industrial Complex Managers’ Association Chairman Inauguration and Retirement Ceremony’ on the 24th, where he encouraged business leaders working for regional economic development and discussed ways to cooperate.

At the event, Shin Gi-su was succeeded as the 9th chairman, and Cho Dae-ik, CEO of Gwangam Jungjeon-gi, was inaugurated as the 10th chairman.
In his congratulatory speech, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Metropolitan City, said, “Thanks to the Changwon National Industrial Complex recording a historic highest production value of 62 trillion won last year, Changwon’s export volume reached its highest level since 2012, and the trade balance surplus ranked fifth nationwide, firmly establishing its status as Korea’s top manufacturing city.” He expressed gratitude for the passion of the business leaders.
